MAPS AND DIRECTIONS

The Edwin O. Reischauer Center for East Asian Studies is based within the Johns Hopkins SAIS campus in Washington, DC. The campus is located in the Dupont Circle area of northwestern Washington, DC, as is comprised of three building along Massachusetts Avenue. These are the Rome Building (1619 Massachusetts Avenue NW), the Bernstein-Offit Building (1717 Massachusetts Avenue NW), and the Nitze Building (1740 Massachusetts Avenue NW). Classes are held in all three buildings, while the library, student lounge, cafeteria, and most administrative offices are housed in the Nitze Building.

The Reischauer Center can be found on the 6th floor of the Rome Building (1619 Massachusetts Avenue NW), and appointments are recommended. Upon arrival, visitors will need to present photo identification to the front-desk guard to obtain a visitor pass. All broad inquires on Johns Hopkins SAIS and campus tour requests should be directed to the Office of Admissions (sais.dc.admissions@jhu.edu).
