East Asia offers mixed lessons in COVID-19 response

Dr. Kent Calder of the Edwin O. Reischauer Center for East Asian Studies was featured yesterday in JHU HUB.

In the interview, Dr. Calder discussed the range of effectiveness across the globe in responding to the pandemic, as well as implications for the post-pandemic world. He suggests the need to adjust supply chains, as well as specific lessons the U.S. can learn from other counties’ strategies in contact tracing and broader contingency planning.
