Interview with the Shenzhen Media Group
In an interview with the Shenzhen Media Group, Dr. Calder discussed the potential impact of President Trump’s tariffs on China. He pointed out that President Trump’s tariffs are a real departure from the Republican tradition and and how both Republicans and Democrats have grown more conservative on trade in recent years. Despite these escalating tensions, Dr. Calder emphasized the positive people-to-people relationships between the United States and China.
