MONOGRAPHS SERIES OF THE REISCHAUER CENTER

In an effort to support research on trans-Pacific and inter-Asian relations, the Edwin O. Reischauer Center for East Asian Studies distributes related work through a variety of monograph series.

The Reischauer Center’s most prominent publications include the Asia-Pacific Policy Papers and the Asia-Pacific Leadership Series, which both hope to actively contribute to public-policy debate in Washington, DC. Similarly, the recent establishment of the Emerging Issues in Eurasian Research Series seeks to expand this contribution to account for the increasing interconnection and importance of the continent in the global political economy.

Given the significant role that Ambassador Reischauer played in promoting the study of Japan in the United States, the Reischauer Center publishes research and event transcripts that celebrate this legacy through the Reischauer Heritage Series.

Finally, the Occasional Paper Series highlights the diversity of research being conducted at the Reischauer Center and most frequently features the work from scholars, journalists, and policy practitioners associated with the Visiting Scholar Program.
